I've had this version of telepathy logger for a while now, and still
have the issue.
Are we sure this fixes it?

I've installed the package from -proposed and since that package didn't
contain any dependencies on other packages that were in -proposed
section in Software Update program I didn't bother with them.
I didn't cherry-pick a patch from a repository. Am I missunderstanding
you and I should i
Domen, it's important that we test the actual packages in -proposed and
not just cherry-pick patches.
Anyway, I can verify that the -proposed package fixes this bug and I've
not seen or heard of any regresssions.

I've added only the telepathy-logger patch from proposed patches (I saw that
there was another patch related to introspection but didn't install it).
After that I tried to reproduce the bug and it was still there so I told my

Accepted telepathy-logger into quantal-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/telepathy-
logger/0.4.0-2~ubuntu12.10.0 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.

- the work is done on best effort basis by volunteers
- the stable update was uploaded and is waiting for review
- last week was UDS and most of Ubuntu Developpers were travelling and then
busy at the conference

May I ask why does it take so long to release an updated package
containing a tiny tiny fix that solves one of the most annoying issues
on Ubuntu's GNOME? It's been available on Tim's PPA
