I never got to use the HUD with LibreOffice, even with the newest LO 4.0.2.1
from the LO 4.0 PPA on Ubuntu 12.10 up to date with Proposed activated.
I just get results from the indicators, even though the first HUD icon that

I am seeing exact same behavior as Till is.
My reproducer:
1. Make sure no libreoffice programs are running

The combination of this and bug 1074528 is deadly. This bug appeared
before the other, but I don't know whether there's any causal
relationship between the two.
At any rate, I currently have no way of accessing the menus in
LibreOffice (via the HUD or otherwise), so I hope this will get fixed
soon
And now I can add to my previous post that when I have 2 open LO windows
and HUD is working in one LO window, but doesn't work in the other one.

times). In Ubu
Update:
I can't be sure if there is a connection, but after todays Compiz
update, the HUD in LO doesn't work at all on this computer any more.
Several reboots later and testing it on a different computer lead to the
same results.

"lo-menubar", which ensures that package "libreoffice-gtk" is installed.
