Confirming my previous report. After a clean install of Kubuntu Feisty
Fawn 7.04 and after instalation of libxine-extracodecs that allows
amarok to play mp3, konqueror audio preview doesnt work. I'm pretty
sure that the package libarts1-mpeglib _needs_ to be installed to have
this feature working
It works for me and I don't have that package installed. It needs
propriety codecs to preview MP3s and as such can't be installed by
default so I am closing.

Indeed. I solved the problem installing the libarts1-mpeglib package. It
should be installed by default to have such feature.

I have this working in Edgy, but I can't seem to get it to work in
Feisty. I seem to recall that a package had to be installed, but I
can't remember what it was. It ought to work out of the box, though.
