Using 0.7.0 under Jaunty and the bug still exist. I was stiching to the
images and made some changes in the control points and told it to
realign and the program crashed. The 3 images that I was using were not
really taken as to be stiched into a panorama, I had just installed and
was just taking

This bug seems to have been fixed in latest version of hugin (0.7.0
stable release).
If you still have the issue, please reopen this bug report. In the
meanwhile, closing it.
