@Shawn Peterson: Until this is fixed in K/Uubntu you can symlink the
missing cursor names in your favorite theme.
I have symlinked the following cursors in the contrast large theme (one
that looks odd in K/Ubuntu) and it works:
ln -s xterm text
ln -s xterm ibeam
ln -s hand pointing_hand
ln -s han
I can confirm this, as well as some other oddities. See my bug:
