Hi,
Bug still present in Ubuntu 12.10,
but i found a way to disable Cando permanently from X, to do this:
1 : sudo gedit /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf
2 : Remove all related lines to touchscreen and tablet (somthing like below)
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "evdev tablet catch
Bug still present in Ubuntu 12.10,
