appears that you tried to install grub to /dev/sdb rather than /dev/sda,
which would have worked.

So, let's say you know that /dev/sda is the right partition to go ahead
with, this is what you get " Executing 'grub-install /dev/sda' has
failed. This is a fatal error". The same happens if the user choosed
/dev/sdb as well. Computer is unusable after a possible restart.
