Interesting, I wonder if this is a Kubuntu issue? I've noticed I set
custom folders in Kate that don't follow in KWrite or other problems.
Will have to look further into this. Thank you for the update.

Hi Mark,
I am trying to clean up all the bugs against Kile and noticed the last
update on this bug was a mention the bug only applies on the first run
of kile. Just curious as to how things stand as the last update was
2007-04-03? If you are still having problems w/ Kile, can you please
update t
I just closed and reopened kile, and this bug has vanished! I'm guessing
that this bug only applies on first run of kile, and subsequently sorts
itself out. I'll do some testing and post back on this...

Note that I'm sure my custom entries are made available KDE-wide, since
Konqueror, KPDF, kate, KTorrent etc. all show these entries correctly.
