If somebody wants us to investigate being more robust about this, it
might be helpful to put an image of the USB stick somewhere (not in a
bug attachment, though) so we can see in exactly what way it's broken.

Rob, the issue is to do with the fact you did not reformat the memory
stick used for installation seemingly. The package from Debian still
remained in the trash, breaking the install.

I hit the bug tonight which left my system unbootable.
Sequence to trigger the bug:
Note: This requires a working install of linux with grub and windows
already.
1. Install debian testing netinstall via unetbootin on a usb stick.
2. Install ubuntu via unetbootin on the same usb stick without

To man
I used Unetbootin to write it but I guess I should have totally
formatted it before. I had the alpha for Debian Wheezy on it and just
told it to replace all. The really odd thing is that everything worked
great until the very end. I was almost done when this error came up.
