I see this more as a problem within Ubuntu and not so with avidemux itself. Can you restest the behaviour on your system again? In meantime I set this to incomplete. When it is also gone at your computer please set it to Fix released. When it is still there set the ticket back to new. ** Change

Hi Angle, I have used your file from: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/avidemux/+bug/1022526 . A converting with the procedure you describe there works on my system. With the videe you provide here. There is no crasher anymore, but the converting is not working how avidemux tells me.
