Alusa, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

I get this crash file while opening some pay apps, but the ones that
crash the computer like bastion doesn't generate a file, just crash the
computer to the login screen or freeze the computer until I cut off the
power to it.

I can't reproduce this on a laptop with sandybridge and current precise.
Make sure you have installed all the updates, and if you still get
issues, please run 'apport-collect 1008864'.

Thanks for this additional information. It appears that the video driver does
not deal with the opengl code we use (which is very simple and essentially just
what glxinfo is doing). What is the output of:
$ lspci
(I'm interessted in the exact video card model).
Can you run tools like:
$ glxinfo
It crashed when I run that python command.
