Hi,
yes Skype clears and re-creates the menu at every click, but this is not
causing any blinking on other distributions (i.e. Kubuntu) and also it was not
a problem on Ubuntu itself before v12.04 if I remember correctly.
I also checked the code and looks like when the package 'sni-qt' is install
