Hi,
I am having difficulty replicating the problem.
I am using Thunderbird 52.8.0 (64-bit) as well but I am in Ubuntu 18.04.
I created and saved an event and when the popup came up, I clicked "Details..."
The event edit window came up, to the left side of the popup. Both are
clickable and I can m
OK, thanks for the update. I will change the status to "new" again. Next steps
for me will be to try to replicate it myself and look for duplicates. I will
keep you informed on my progress. Also, I may have questions on how to
duplicate it - I hope you don't mind.

unfortunately this problem still exists.
ubuntu 16.04 & Thunderbird 52.8.0 (64bit).

i mean the pop-up reminder list of tasks & events, where you can click
"details" to edit tasks or events (see the screenshot).

Thanks for your report! I was trying to duplicate your issue, and I was
unable to even though we are using the same versions of ubuntu,
Thunderbird, Lighnting.
Just to clarify, you go to edit an event in your calendar when you are
on the calendar view, by clicking an event in the event list at the
