Thanks to Benzodiaz from ubuntuforums(no help from launchpad) it came to
my knowledge which the fix for this already existed since january of
this year; being only unused and hidden. Alsa supported codec models for
cirrus document was not updated taking in account this 2012 cirrus new
model, neithe
Exactly the same problem, speaker works well until a headphone inserted,
but no sound from the headphone.
Upgraded to Quantal as well, not work.

I upgraded my ubuntu from precise to quantal to ensure this bug is fixed
at this ubuntu version, as it is the only one(video and keyboard+mouse
issues had workarounds) I hadn't found a workaround for my 12,1 imac
from the huge amount of information I researched upon. I consider I'm
done with resear
The command worked as intended (apport-collect can give some odd
messages even when it succeeds). Thanks for providing the information.

Did apport-collect 1003039; It seems the process was succefull, thought
with strange messages on terminal and a black screen with a loading
symbol at the last window.
