I tried to add my printer with System->GNOME Center->Printing->Add but it
doesn't detect my printer.
I tried also with Linux Mint which is based on Ubuntu 6.10 using:
System->Administration->Printing->Add and it detects my printer (I saw it in
"Use a detected printer" field
I made the update with Synaptic Package Manager. (I always use this
tool)

Open the Volume Control, and in tab Volume, unlock channels for Volume together
(click the "chain" icon). Move the volume for the left channel until you hear
the sound for the left channel. Finaly, lock the channels.

My laptop Acer Aspire 5101ANWLMi has Realtek ALC883 sound card.
I use Ubuntu 7.04
I can hear the sound only on the right side of my headphones (the same effect
is with speakers). There is no problem with my headphones or spekers, they
works correctly with other OS.
