It looks like it was not fixed in ubuntu on time to make it to
2014-06-07 release. It also looks like now it made its way to trusty-

It looks like this is because dnscache-run is not compatible with
resolveconf (see here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=582755) So naturally if an upgrade insists on
installing/updaing resolveconf it needs to remove dnschache-run. It
would be really nice of dnscache can live pea
