Same for me on an Asus M6N notebook. A big problem with this is, that it makes
the Text-consoles useless too.
(the consoles you reach with CTRL-ALT-F1) they are spammed with the messages,
you can't use them.
I have the same problem installing Uplink from Introversion. Please re-
add the lib to karmic, linux-gaming is frustrating enough already

basicly the whole "View"-menu is missing.
Minimal mode used to have the hotkey "M".
Thats Mute now. Minimal mode didn't make it in the shortcut list as well.
Thats really not good, because you can't hide the channel pane anymore when
watching tv.
