get file ZSI-2.1-a1.tar.gz from http://pywebsvcs.sourceforge.net/
then recompile sonata 1.5.1 and everything works

i have the same problem, after few minutes amarok stop playing.
If I touch the volume or any other key the sound returns, and then stop again.
my card is a hda-intel with alsa 10.0.6
and using ubuntu gutsy 7.10
