My case was a little different but I think is part of this problem.
I acctually had 4 motd when logging in with ssh.

which lead me to the conclusion that there must be 2 prob

You know why
- Editieren der /etc/network/interfaces (pre-down false)
To stop bringing the Interface down.
But since the Update ... it stopped working ... and I am looking for
someone who can tell me why or even how to fix it.
Maybe some of you can try it.
