I have this same issue. What's very curious though is that I can connect to my work's network with Fedora 29+ (28 didn't work) as well as Arch/Manjaro based distros but not any Ubuntu version (including most recently 19.10) I can't. Just get repeated authentication failures. It's something to do

Public bug reported: I manually changed /var/lib/locales/supported.d/de. When I update language-pack-de-base that file gets overwritten and all my changes are lost. That should not happen. The update should check all files, detect that there have been changes and ask me whether I want to keep
