Same issue here on Karmic final. Was displaying well until a week ago. I
added another location to the list. Then the taskbar display just
disappeared. Tried - removing second location, removing the
/etc/timezone, readding my location several times. Doesn't work.

Well, I'm on Banshee 1.5.2 (1.6Beta) and I enqueue files using
'banshee-1 --enqueue'. The most annoying this is that files get sorted
by name automatically, and files sitting on top of the currently playing
song never play. The player simply stops after playing the current
playing song.

I can confirm this in Jaunty. When doing full-screen with the Always on
the Top option enabled, I can see the VLC window with the title and a
blank video window on top of the full-screened video window.

I've been used to Pre-jaunty network manager where I could tab between the
various fields when adding an IP statically.

This also adds the netmask automatically when tabbing over it.
An easier way to do is would be to have something similar to what you
get when you do "About Firefox" with the window showing links to ubuntu
docs, to update current running ubuntu etc.
