it is the modem applet it seems to have been fixed in ths final release.

i booted the edgy beta livecd and it loaded the desktop when i tried to
use the modemlighs applet i received a message the app was broken and
did i want to delete it i said no tried other applets and the modemlight
error kept popping up hopefully this will be fixed in the fina
