Using Karmic on a Dell Latitude E5500, when coming out of suspend the
window title disappears, along with the max/min. You can use the
functions if you hover your mouse in the area, but can't see them. If I
log off and back on, it comes back.

Since update to karmic a couple of days ago my brother hl2140 is doing
the same thing- shows in lsusb, but as idle and not waking up when try
to print test page. it worked before update. my hpf4440 is still
working. plugged the brother into my other ubuntu 9.04 laptop and it
worked fine, so not
Taking router off WPA encryption did nothing for the problem, but that
is all I have messed on the eee with Jaunty, so thought i'd give it a
shot.
Installed WICD and that is working as it should on suspend with
wireless. Takes a little bit to get used to the change, but does work-

OK- here's one: on an upgrade to jaunty with thinkpad t30, works fine.
like better than ever- is connected before the icon even pops up. on
fresh install of jaunty on my eee box, takes very long to reconnect- my
router does not even show up for a while. i will see if taking out wpa
encrytion hel
Oddly, second reboot after upgrade, it started working this morning.
The only thing I did between first reboot and second is try to install
that package, which didn't happen, so not sure what that was about.

Touchpad on IBM thinkpad t30 does not work at all with all updates on
Jaunty. When I tried to install above mentioned package, it says there
is a later version already installed. Will use external mouse and hope

Same problem as above. Looks like it is connecting, but then continues
the request for password, although it is already input. This is on an
eeeBox running 9.04 via a unetbootin created USB. I had tried it
before I locked down my network and it did work then. Just won't work
with my WPA protec
Make sure you have Multicast DNS service discovery checked in your
services. Had this exact problem. Looked here for help. Ended up
figuring it out on my own when looking to see if I had some unknown
firewall running.
