Hi,
I do not expect to do anything about ubuntu since I have already uploaded 2.1.7
to squeeze/sid. But what I could do is a backport for Lenny since the Perl
modules are available. Would it be fine for you?

Hi,
I have mentionned the problem here:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=521683
Installing mailutils should do the trick.
The current pre-release for psad 2.1.6 should fix the problem by the use
of the sendmail command, but there is still some work to do on it.

Hi,
It is not a bug in fwknop at all. I am almost sure it is due to modprobe
which spews messages to STDERR, such as:
WARNING: All config files need .conf ...
when loading the netfilter modules for the first time.
Could you do the following steps:
- Unload your netfilter/iptables modules
Hi,
Any news about this bug on karmic? (I consider it closed in both Debian
Sid and testing)
About jaunty, fwknop must be unusable on i386. Is there any chances you
upgrade the package?

Hi,
I have been able to reproduce the problem on one of my computer. It does
not have any firewall setup, and I think it comes from this point. If I
remember, I saw a kernel message about loading a netfilter module.
I will look into the problem.
PS: please report bugs to the Debian BTS as well
Hi,
Please have a look at the following bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=508432
libnet-pcap-perl allows the pcap_loop function to be interrupted by
signal which causes segfault.
In a first time a fix has been added to fwknop since 1.9.10-2
