Considering Pavel Rojtberg managed to fix this by recompiling control-
center, doesn't this indicate that at least some bug may lie in the

I'm having the same problem, and disabling the synaptics driver also
fixed it. I've just now update/dist-upgraded and still no improvement.
$ gnome-settings-daemon
