I'm an idiot. It was a flipping HDMI cable that went bad. Very strange it
gave me all kinds of mother board errors and unbootable Ubuntu install.
Stranger yet that USB stick would boot fine and I could chroot into my
Ubuntu LVM and run everything. Now boots slow from I'm sure from all the
"fixing"
One drive was a little too warm but added fan and drive checks out ok with
no actual failures just past temperature warnings. I still get the ACPI
probe error but for once made it to failsafe desktop.

I know this really shouldn't in bug report but by turning bell mode to
off (gconf-editor /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/bell_mode) and
disable the system bell through the "CompizConfig Settings Manager"
under the General->General Options->General tab, uncheck "Audible Bell"
seems to have help
OK. Turning off "PC Beep" works for me but only temporarily. (It is
being turned back on by another process.)

The only computer I am having this problem on is a fresh install Hardy
64 bit (DellXPS410.)
Same Problem now in the release 64 bit Hardy- verified on laptop and

Forget my last comment. I see the problems with vesafb, especially with
TV out. It seems as though uvesafb corrects the problems inherent in
vesafb. On a side note I have no problem with TV out except small text
is unreadable with such low resolution.

was still shown as bonded it would still work. Removed my configurations
and my blue tooth is visible and connectible but when I move my mouse

I forgot to mention that the only way I was able to reach the live
desktop in any 64 bit version was to use the OEM install. Otherwise
screen turns off and computer hangs. (Not sure if this info. is useful
or not.) I didn't realize I could try nosplash option for the live cd.
