I realized it was a bad connection with the Wireless Network, not
Ubuntu, my System is working fine now.

If anyone is still reading this Thread, I just wanted to say that I had similar
problems with Ubuntu 9.04 but the way I solved them was not by getting all
frustrated and hateful, (although I did experience those emotions, it was not
how I solved the problems :) When I could not find the answers
