I found that this step in article 1763428 will allow for full desktop,
however the mouse is still off focus. I think switching workspaces
aligns the scrn without the unity bar

I have this same issue with an Asus netbook (EE PC) Atom processor
Ubuntu 11.10. The unity bar seems to throw off the focus. The remote
session will not go full scrn and the pointer is not aligned.
