On Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
I got this error on Eclipse Version: 3.5.2
Build id: M20100211-1343
when installing android sdk from: androidADT -
https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/
sudo apt-get install eclipse-pde
fixes this problem

Does ANYONE have a solution for: ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local
MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock'
Can I install an old version or something? I MUST get this server up. Nothing
will get it to run.
