[Bug 51859] Should php5-cgi (fastcgi) have mysql support?

Public bug reported: Hi, I'm using php5-cgi with lighttpd on Dapper. A script, BlahzDNS (http://sourceforge.net/projects/blahzdns/). failed with function mysql_connect() not found. Should php5-cgi include support for mysql? If not, do we need a php5 -cgi-mysql? I was able to build in support
