Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: eee-applet
Just upgraded my EEE 1000 to Karmic, and installed the eee-applet from
the repos because the guy who maintains eee-control applet hasn't
released a karmic .deb yet. Anyway, I installed eee-applet and ran it
with:
gksudo eee-applet

Here's my xorg.conf's (see attached) from the Catalyst version 9.7 vs 9.8.
9.8 Suspens/resumes flawlessly with compositing enabled (yay!), while 9.7

I haven't seen anyone else post this, but this problem still persists with
the latest Catalyst drivers and the Jaunty kernel

I have the exact same problem. I am using an ATI Radeon 2600 HD with the
proprietary fglrx drivers installed. I'd also like to add that I have
tried out Fedora 10 (gnome) and Ubuntu 8.10-9.04 (both with gnome) and
have had this exact same problem with both. I've attached the same files
as requested
I also have the exact same problem on a Gateway M6862 laptop using
Jaunty. Let me know if there is any info that I can provide from my
machine that could help, I just don't know what to post.

I also have the exact same problem with Jainty beta. dmesg attached,
similar to Emmersons, my 2G microsd does not even show up in /dev, but
my sandisk internal memory shows up as /dev/sdc1. I tried reformatting
the card from the player, card still not detected.

This has added a new scroll bar to alsamixer labeled "headphones", but

Public bug reported:
When I plug in my headphones into my Gate M6862 laptop, they produce
barely audible sound. Headphone jack works fine under Vista. I have
checked alsamixer to make sure that all sound channels (Master, PCM, and
Front for my computer) are at 100%. I have followed all of the
