a document can be really hard to see for some people. Because of this

I have just tried installing tomcat on Ubuntu 7.04 and right after
installation I can't start it ... I usually use tomcat for development
with an IDE program and I need to be able to start it manually from the
user (without sudo).. So each time
No... sorry for the false alarm ... I ended up using the binaries from
the tomcat site... I still don't know exactly where the problem came
from :(

It seems it's not an Ubuntu problem.. I haven't got to the botom of it
but I had the same problem with the binarys I downloaded from the tomcat
site...

Apache and Tomcat from the ubuntu 6.06(that's what I have installed)
repositoryes... I tried to make some JSP pages and they worked just fine..
