was only with "intrepid ibex 8.10",

entri nel GRuB al momento dell'avvio di ubuntu, ti viene mostrato un
menu di scelta, selezioni la 2° riga, quella che indica il numero del
kernel, la editi (premi "e"), modifichi la parte "all
the problem was the UDMA4
my BIOS detect dvd device like UDMA2, but the output #hdparm -i /dev/scd0
was UDMA4
also i had add during the GRUB at the 2° line "kernel" all_generic_ide=1
and the hdpaem output is change in UDMA2
and it works wery well!!
