After updating on Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble)
kile does not write anymore the compiled document (the pdf).
The menu in order to choose the path where it will be saved appears: I can
navigate in the tree structure directory, then click on save.
Then I should have the pdf file writte

I forget : I try to play the attached audio file with rythmbox, banchee and
totem. The result is the same.
There is no error with gniome-mplayer.
