This exact thing seems to also happen for VLC 3.0.6, Windows 7 64-bit. I
suspect its the same underlying issue still, this is a local 1080p/60fps

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is working properly for me in
jaunty beta.
I have a touch-button on my hp6710b that enables/disables both wifi and
bluetooh. In windows I have disabled wifi in addition to this, meaning
the physical button only enables bluetooth atm. In this state my jaunty
Apparently the option is named "TVOverScan". Oddly enough, it seems
nvidia-settings remember the value in the GUI but does not write it to
xorg.conf. So where is that value kept?

refuses to save the overscan option for my TV. Setting it in the GUI is
fine, but after reboot/restart of X it is forgotten. It seems there is a
option "overscan" with val

I can't really use eclipse 3.3 due to an important plugin not working
for it (P4WSAD) so 3.3 does not help me.

chown haldaemon:haldaemon /var/cache/hald before, but that on its own
