VNC server's IP, port and password are correct. As I wrote in initial
message, I can connect to the server from address bar of Remmina but I
can't by double clicking at the server's profile item

Nathan, I just received the update of pipewire, after installing it I
rebooted the notebook and the problem persists, the Snapshot doesn't
recognize the Webcam.

To answer the previous question: No, I am not running a custom kernel,
and I have not replaced any key packages with PPA

Installed 23.10 eleven months ago because no other Ubuntu distro would run on
this product. I would like to upgrade to 24.04.1. I've attempted the upgrade
half a dozen times (both 24.04 and 24.04.1), but it always fails
