try ppa or wait for next release of Ubuntu (Not a good solution.).

I cannot properly see IP Information Section. This problem is not
limited to this software. Most of the software in Ubuntu 11.10 has the
same problem. How to solve this problem?

OK, I'll try it.
But you not that, update-manager will not start downloading packages, if we
are not giving privileges.
If we started update-manager without access privileges, it asks for access
privileges.

update-manager shows invalid file size in 'Applying Changes' window. If
the actual size is only 25 MB, Details window shows Downloaded 30 MB of
25 MB, but in the progress bar, it shows 100%. First time it shows
