Same problem with my system when trying to upgrade Ubuntu 10.04 to
10.10. In my case, 'aptitude why blcr-dkms' returned that there was not
reason to have blcr-dkms. To be sure, I ran 'sudo apt-get purge blcr-
dkms' before attempting the upgrade without luck. Using the workaround
suggested by Cha

I am having a similar problem using an up-to-date Karmic Ubuntu 9.10
64-bit, same network=manager-vpnc as above

First, with NM-vpnc I get

In my case, disabling blur effects on compiz and/or upgrading the kernel
helped. I haven't had this issue in several weeks now, but was having

Having a similar issue on two different systems - one using NVIDIA and
the other using Intel. I don't get any flashing caps lock. When the
computer freezes, I am able to ssh to the machine from another computer

likely Nautilus is decreasing the font size from 7 to something like
5-6pt when using 33% zoom (though hard to tell at that size level)

003 - +GSSAPI) using 64-bit Ubuntu 8.10, Nautilus fails, telling me:

"term1" OR "term2", etc. Right now, it seems only to take the search
terms as a single keyword string. This would be tremendously useful for
saved searches as well.
