two panels, one at top, and another at the bottom of the screen.
right click on bottom one, set it to be at the top

i tried few times and its always the same problem :
with brightness applet in panel
when clicked, it opens the slider to adjust laptop brightness
but while the slider is shown, if you remove applet from panel
slider is still opened (and working, but
