there seems to be quite similar issue reported for iwl3945 [1] and it's
supposed to be fixed in kernel 2.6.30 ... did anybody get a chance to test with
2.6.30-RC4 or later?

thanks for suggestion, but it is not really an option.
I tried backports already and with that i have same issue as before (when i was
using intrepid) - the network keeps disconnecting frequently, specially under
the load (e.g. when transfering data files bigger then 1GB) and since I

Don't think this is a driver bug. I have same issue with iwlagn, so maybe the
supplicant issue is more likely.

Hmm, seems like server might have not been running already before
starting the upgrade, so I think yeah it could be the same issue as

this problem still occurs on the latest code (hardy & all the latest versions).
Tried with both non-free (Adobe) and free (+ gnash) plugins and behaves exactly
same.
