I've sent a little patch on the upstream bugtracker, that adds 6 image
gallery sorting algorithms and a command line option for selecting the
one used. At the moment I personally use this, as I need to have co
re:quantal -- I don't currently have a system running quantal to test
and confirm that the bug is no longer present. As I just passed the bug
information along from a question on the ask.LO site, if it works for
you on your quantal sytem, that's good enough for me as well :-)

I'm experiencing similar hibernation/suspend issues on my m1530 (the
bigger brother of the m1330). See

I'm not sure if my bug is exactly the same as this one plaguing the
m1330, but removing 'quiet' and 'splash' from the boot
I just did some testing with hibernation and finally got something to
resume!
Unfortunately, the method is:
- Boot Ubuntu with quiet/splash off and no_console_suspend on
- Go immediately to Virtual Terminal 1
- 'sudo pm-hibernate'
(The computer hibernates)
- Start up the machine
- (Again) Boot U
After talking with johanbr on #ubuntu-kernel, here's a much larger piece
of the log showing going into suspend and failing to resume.

Per the instructions, I've done a test of suspending from text mode.

'splash' kernel boot arguments. This change seemed to alleviate the
problem, as I've been unable to make Shutdown hang anymore.
