I have exactly the same problem.
Sometimes I get the bug 237339, sometimes this one
and sometimes the laptop resumes correctly (not often).
So it might be that the two bugs are related.
Note that I attached the requested files to the bug 237339.

point though (This is on a Dell e6400 machine which has both a trackpad

I have noticed that I get the following lines in the xorg log file
during the jumping of the cursor (will attach complete Xorg.0.log):

I am unfortunately unable to test because I do not have access to the network
where this happend anymore.
