[Bug 1361742] Re: pcre_printint.src is not provided by libpcre3-dev

2014-08-26 Thread okeuday
I can no longer justify this, since I am not using pcre and it isn't clear why this file would be wanted outside of the complete pcre source. I was just trying to get a project to compile that depended on pcre, and this file happens to be treated as an include file. -- You received this bug notif

[Bug 1361742] Re: pcre_printint.src is not provided by libpcre3-dev

2014-08-26 Thread okeuday
Actually, Erlang/OTP has their own copy of pcre, so it requires its own pcre_printint.src. However, consider adding pcre_printint.src for pcre debugging during development. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.

[Bug 1361742] [NEW] pcre_printint.src is not provided by libpcre3-dev

2014-08-26 Thread okeuday
Public bug reported: pcre_printint.src is requried for other dependencies that can be built from source (for example Erlang/OTP when DEBUG is defined). For some reason pcre_printint.src is not provided as would be expected within libpcre3-dev. However, you can see pcre_printint.src within emboss

[Bug 161944] Re: pidgin buddy list window gets lost in kde

2010-09-08 Thread okeuday
I have had this problem and was forced to correct it by manually editting ~/.purple/prefs.xml when pidgin was not running. The element "/"->pidgin->blist->list_visible was set to 0 when I was unable to have the buddy list appear, after closing the buddy list window. The problem may not be a bug,

Using the gutsy diff (since they are using PyQwt 4.2.2) I was able to make a package using: patch -p0 < pyqwt_4.2.2-1.diff && tar zxvf PyQwt-4.2.2.tar.gz -C pyqwt-4.2.2 && cd pyqwt-4.2.2 && chmod +x debian/rules && fakeroot debian/rules binary It works for python 2.5 as long as the dependencies

[Bug 137155] Re: pyqwt on feisty requires python 2.4 (unable to work with python 2.5)

2007-09-03 Thread okeuday
The main problem I am seeing here is that pyqwt4.2.2 is not yet released or proposed for feisty ubuntu. Between 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 they switched from python 2.4 to 2.5 and from numeric to numpy. It may be advantageous to provide both the pyqwt4.2.1 and pyqwt4.2.2 for feisty to aid pyqwt usage and it

2007-09-03 Thread okeuday
Public bug reported: The python 2.4 dependency should be reflected in the package system, i.e., trying to install pyqwt should force me to install python 2.4. Also, the description of pyqwt should specify which array types are supported. It is obvious that the numpy array type is not supported by

Please allow this to be an update through the package manager. This is an annoying problem which makes pycurl useless on amd64 (probably ia64 too). Thank you for providing the proposed patch version. -- PyCurl 7.15.5 not working on AMD64 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/118659 You received this
