Am still seeing this issue on 14.04 as well. I logged bug #1582658
showing the samba log, which is giving the same error as in the original
issue (bug #1572876).
I've also tried the 2 smb.conf options mentioned above by Marc, however
neither resolved the issue.

1) Laptop with external display attached and setup with xrandr (So 2 monitors

Attached is .usbcreator.log file. I deleted the file prior to running
usb-creator so this should only be for the relevant session.
The intended device/partition was formated to fat32 using gparted immediately

I think removing indi completely is exactly what is needed. My
understanding is that its functionality is all provided by libindi now.
As for the fact that it provides binaries to /usr/bin, that is a worry. There's

'General' font for this work. I was initially changing the 'Menu' font
but this did not solve the problem.

both a driver and kernel portion. Assuming karmic is planning to release
with 2.6.30, the fix that has been pushed to 2.6.31 will not apply and

That error is simply stating that the package isn't 'signed' with a
known key. It shouldn't cause a problem though and the update/install
should still work without a problem.
If you're getting dependency errors, try removing package 'indi' and see
if that helps.

Hi Mike,
Do you still have package 'indi' installed? Its installed as part of the
non-ppa version of kstars however libindi0 conflicts with it, so you'll
need to remove it before installing the ppa version.
If you're having problems after that, I suggest removing indi, libindi0
and kstars, refres
I'm a little surprised that this has been targeted for 9.10. The update
to fix it in 9.04 is a trivial change to the package and does not
require any code patches etc.
Is there a particular reason this can't be added to jaunty updates?

crash on "Detecting Hardware" causing the X server to restart.
Booted beta live CD, performed apt-get upgrade on ubiquity to version
1.12.5 and everything worked OK.

What is the value of the 2 fields? If it ends in anything other than 4
0's then I believe it will cause a problem (Mine was originally
0x7a6d2000 for example)
If you change both fields to end in 4 0's (in my case changing to

After the recent changes to the bluetooth stack, the legacy support using hidd
has been removed. Executing 'hidd' however returns the following:

recommended. The mcopy program will be required by syslinux in 99% of
cases and therefore should be a depends.
