The xsane respond within a second...
So, from ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala, the xsane and the scanner CanoScan
LIDE 25 works but not from ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron LTS.

scanner: CanoScan LIDE 25
Before the new kernel xsane start and find my scanner within a second
After update to: '2.6.24-27-generic' it takes xsane 9min 34sek to find
the scanner
.
What info can I sent?
The scanner is a Canon CanoScan Lide 25.
