James, It happens to me even without changing the count of displays in
suspend. If I have an extermal monitor connected and suspend, the
windows get mixed up on next resume.

I can reproduce this even with compiz turned off/not enabled. So this bug is
not compiz-dependant.

hmmm killing compiz did the trick, too. It acts strange lately. The
screen gets frozen from time to time (especially, when using alt+tab
program switching) and compiz.real goes up 100% in CPU usage.
