except for that described menu issue i can confirm that it works for me.
i just retried purging the jupiter6 version and i definitely don't have
the described menu issue with the 'original' precise X server.
I feel a bit bad/weird reporting a bug against another package that only
appears wit

On a fully updated precise system:
I configured onboard to automatically show when text input is required (dunno
the exact english name, using german langpacks) etc.
the menu in the top right says onboard running (screen keyboard is
ticked) but it's not there. to make it ap
this changed things and also improved but whenever i open an item in the top
right and try to click on one of the menus lightdm seems to crash and i am back
at the login screen.
even on the login screen i have the same behaviour: trying to enable the screen
keyboad -> crash, anything else: crash

Hi,
similar to #949791 ...
that bug made things better (i can now move windows using the touch
screen) but it still often stops to react to any clicks when using
touch.
I just updated.
In unity 3d (not in unity 2d nor in gnome shell) if i touch the top bar

thx for the fix ... that makes things better ... but there are still issues
left.
i can now move windows using the touchscreen but most of the time when i try to
touch the clock/username/config thingies in the top right corner the same
effect happens again -> no click/touch events visible.
same here on an acer aspire 1825ptz convertible:
unity not working (if i try to move a window via touchscreen it immediately
stops to react to any clicks, both mouse and touch clicks)
gnome-shell works ok so far
i can reproduce it to 100% and right after boot+login, so if anyone
needs more info j
