This happens to me as well, i also have the ipw3945 wireless card. It
seems to happen always at startup, when the desktop is first loading,
but it rarely happens afterwards for me. I get the same error as armlis
in my dmesg.

This happens to me as well. It happens at startup, but then not anytime
afterwards unless the computer is at 100% cpu

Also, when a SD card is inserted in hardy, it is picked up just fine,
and i even get a accurate representation of the card as an icon on the
desktop. moving files on and off of the card works fine as well.

This bug is still not corrected. _Only_ the SD cards will work in my
reader currently with Ubuntu Gutsy x86.

disabling all bluetooth dock programs and using the configuration file
to auto discover my device.

This problem is fixed, sticking SD and Sony style memory cards mount
correctly, and dmesg doesn't have any errors.

I have had this problem since Feisty on my Compal Hel80 notebook.
Everything works fine, I'm not sure if this is affecting my system
performance or not but everything seems fine.

Do you mean you can't find the driver for any operating system? I have
the drivers for xp and vista, if someone needed them to port them. I'm
not sure.

i see this as well. if you uninstall compiz-extra, the "flickering"
stops, and everything returns to normal.
if you restart the computer with compiz-extra on and desktop effects
enabled, the gui fails to load.
