work with default settings. "Server requires authentication" has to be

correct. For example, dcp7010 driver gave me exactly 3cm top and 4cm

Mic level is big problem, maybe the eeepc's onboard mic isn't very good
quality. I just used skype with my wife and she hardly heard me at all.
But her voice was very clear to hear for me, she was using Macbook.

It's maybe permission problem in xsane, if you run xsane with sudo all
the setup files are then owned by root. Have you tried to remove .sane
directory from your home directory? It's hidden by default so you have
to select "show hidden files"

Same problem. I can't print anything. My DCP7010 ppd-file is in
/usr/share/ppd instead of /opt/share/ppd. In Dana_r's error log driver
tries also to find it from /usr/share/cups/model.

Sorry, it's not the "use assistive technologies" box. Go to gnome-at-
properties then keyboard settings and then mouse buttons. (or mouse
keys, I don't know if the words are correct in English, my machine is
Finnish:) For me setting mouse keys to "off" fixed the problem.

section stopped to work after updating to hardy. Num Lock on or off

I have standard usb mouse, it worked ok just a couple of hours ago in
gutsy. I did a fresh hardy install and right button doesn't work at all
now. Left button works very weird too.
My problems are quite same as Ari wrote. Touchpad in my laptop works
without problems.

Same problem, I have Acer Aspire 1362 with Via K8M800, laptop's max resolution
is 1024x768.
Now I have 1600x1200, it's max for the external monitor. But I don't have a
such.
And I can't change resolution in Screen and Graphics Preferences, all menus are
empty.

I have DCP7010 and if don't install Brother's own drivers, Ubuntu wants to
install DCP7025 -driver shipped with Ubuntu. And it doesn't work. That's why I
asked what's your driver.

If printer is autodetected, ubuntu offers DCP-7025 driver. But it doesn't work
and haven't ever worked with DCP7010.

Wlan problem again, I have used this machine now two hours. Nothing
happened for about three minutes but then it worked again. I did nothing
to fix it, just waited.
