Definite ditto here! I'm sure it looks luvverley with a visible panel. Sadly,
not so with a transparent panel. Quite hideous actually :-)

Certainly prospective new users who have spent a couple of days trying to get
their Windows system back to where it was before they tried installing 10.10

I agree entirely. The 10.04 (and previous) installer had to be changed
because it wouldn't recognise some modern partition types, but apart

Neither noserverino nor permissions fix worked for me. I still can't list the
files on my Time Capsule, although I can navigate using directory names I
remember. I've tried both lines below with no luck - am I messing up this
work-around?
